RCSA (Red de Colegios Semper Altius) is an international network of private, Catholic, bilingual schools with a presence in 19 countries and more than 60 years of experience in developing globally minded leaders. While their mission unites them, they also face shared operational challenges, especially when it comes to managing large volumes of financial data in real time.
With dozens of institutions and multiple administrative layers, RCSA’s finance team found itself working within a fragmented system: disconnected processes, duplicated records, delays due to missing information, and an overreliance on manual tasks. The result? Delayed decision-making and limited agility.
RCSA needed a solution to bring its financial operations under one roof. The goal was clear but complex: centralize data, automate workflows, and ensure that accurate information was available when needed. Given the organization’s scale and structure, the solution had to be highly collaborative and deeply aligned with RCSA’s internal ecosystem.
“For me, it was a process of discovery, together with [Ensitech]. We knew the problem, but not the solution. And we built that solution together, starting by speaking the same language, understanding the network’s inner workings, our processes, and the unique dynamics of a school network,” shares Daniel Bizzo, Project Manager at RCSA.
That’s where Ensitech came in. The proposal: to build a cloud-based Financial Management Platform (FMP), powered by Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, SQL Server) and the Power Platform (BI, Apps, Automate), with a low-code approach that balanced speed with strength.
The platform was designed with multiple layers:
The mission wasn’t just to modernize finance, it was about aligning HR, IT, marketing, and central leadership under a shared operational language.
The first real test came when all school managers gathered to upload their budgets into the new platform, live, for the first time. As with any major launch, there were nerves, a few errors, and things to fine-tune. But the Ensitech team was there in real time, ready to respond.
“The Ensitech team was connected live… so if something went wrong, we’d notify the backend, and they’d fix it quickly. Fifteen minutes later, everything was good to go,” Daniel recalled.
What used to take days was now resolved in minutes. That moment marked a turning point.
The FMP delivered clear, measurable benefits:
“It was a game-changer. Now, we have far more control over our processes and quick access to real-time information. It gives us the ability to make better decisions. We’ve optimized a lot of processes that used to take too much time. Now, there’s more time for strategic leadership,” shared the RCSA finance team.
The platform was so well received that even before the next module was announced, users were already asking for it: “I wish this was part of the financial platform.” That’s when the team knew they’d hit the mark.
Today, RCSA and Ensitech’s partnership continues to grow. New modules have been added to the FMP, and the next development phase is already underway, aiming to expand the platform’s benefits to other areas of the organization.
What began as a finance initiative has evolved into a strategic tool for driving organizational transformation. RCSA doesn’t just have a modern financial platform, it has a strategic tool powering its educational mission forward.
“I’d say [our relationship with Ensitech] has worked really well. We never had issues. They understood us, solved everything we needed, and it felt like we had people from our own team working at Ensitech. There’s trust, and they’re there for you,”
